A lithium-ion battery (Li-ion) pilot line is a small-scale production facility designed to bridge the gap between laboratory research and full-scale manufacturing. It enables the development, optimization, and validation of battery materials, cell designs, and manufacturing processes under near-industrial conditions. Key capabilities include state of the art slurry mixer (EIRICH EL5), electrode coating, calendaring, cell assembly (pouch cell and cylindrical formats), electrolyte filling, formation cycling, and quality control testing. Our pilot line provides a flexible and scalable platform for testing new chemistries, improving production efficiency, and ensuring quality before mass production. The pilot line is an essential capability for accelerating innovation, reducing costs, and optimizing processes for applications in electric vehicles, consumer electronics, and energy storage systems.
