This design allows for precise measurements of heat, heat flow, and heat capacity.

Operating exclusively in isothermal mode, the Calvet LV 4C maintains stable temperature control from ambient to 200 °C. It accommodates up to four large-volume cells simultaneously, each with a capacity of up to 100 mL or the equivalent of two D-type batteries. This capability enables the concurrent analysis of multiple samples, enhancing throughput and efficiency. The instrument offers versatile, interchangeable crucibles and cells, facilitating a wide range of experimental conditions, including high-pressure (up to 350 bar) and high-vacuum environments. It supports various applications such as mixing/stirring experiments and battery charge/discharge cycles.
