ForgeNano’s PROMETHEUS is an advanced fluidized bed reactor designed for atomic layer deposition (ALD) on various substrates, including powders, extrudates, small objects, and fibers. It supports a wide range of precursors – liquid, solid, and gaseous – with up to eight delivery channels, facilitating diverse deposition chemistries such as oxides, metals, nitrides, phosphates, and molecular layer deposition (MLD). The system accommodates batch sizes from 1 gram to over 1 kilogram, with reactor sizes ranging from 1 mL to 1 L, enabling scalability from research to pilot-scale production. Its proprietary fluidization aids, including vibrating fluidized bed reactors and high shear jets, ensure uniform coatings by preventing powder aggregation and improving mixing. This flexibility and precision make it suitable for applications in catalysts, thermal fillers, pharmaceutical active ingredients, battery materials, and encapsulation processes.
